What is the Infantry? (Part III)

” The love of war stems from the union, deep in the core of our being between sex and destruction, beauty and horror, love and death.”

I understood this without being a man or going to war. Funny, because in my book about a warrior, I said a very similar thing. I joined the military to get the same high as described in this shared post.

An excerpt from my book The Warrior from Monde: “…a man only truly lives when close to the fine line of life and death. Only then, could a man feel the full spectrum of human emotions that come with the realization that only he, himself, could protect his one and only life. Soldiers who understood that fought the hardest. “
